How does the turban work?

When wearing a Nadia Davinska turban, the only fabric and material that your hair touches is natural mulberry silk. The water absorbent layer (microfiber) is HIDDEN under the silk layer to avoid any friction and damage to your hair.
The lining layer of our turbans is unique. All our turbans are lined with Mulberry Silk 22 momme 6A Grade - the best and rarest silk fabric that exists. Less than 5% of natural silk products in the world are made with silk of such high quality. It took us more than a year to find, check, and build a relationship with the supplier of this amazing fabric to ensure we offer you the best quality on the market.
Why use silk at all? Mulberry silk is a very unique fabric that has been used by women since ancient times and does wonders for hair and skin health. The answer is in its chemical composition. Natural silk fiber is 95% pure proteins and amino acids, which are known to have moisturizing, reinforcing, revitalizing, and hypoallergenic qualities. The silk fabric we use in Nadia Davinska turbans has a unique smoothing effect on human hair, closing your hair cuticles, making your hair softer, and preventing split ends and breakage.
But wait, there's more! We developed the Nadia Davinska turban to make sure that it instantly gives you comfort and allows you to multi-task. Our turbans have a unique feature that we invented - a convenient pocket where you can easily put your hair, then wrap the turban around your head, and forget about your wet hair for a while. Due to the elastic loop fastening and tight elastic in the back, the turban stays on your head securely and doesn't fall off.

Care Guide
+
All Nadia Davinska products are made with 22 Momme Mulberry Silk 6A Grade - the best and rarest silk in the world. Silk is one of the strongest natural fabrics, however, it loses its strength when wet. It's important to follow these care guidelines to ensure you can enjoy your turban for many years
Washing: Hand-wash (recommended) or wash on a delicate machine cycle with low or no spin. For machine washing, use a delicates bag and a mild wash detergent. Do not use bleach. Recommended temperature is 30-35°
Drying: Do not tumble dry. Do not twist or wring. Gently squeeze out excess water or absorb it with a towel. Dry on a horizontal surface (f.e., on a clean cotton towel)
More Advice: Silk is naturally wrinkly, and slight shrinking is normal. This can be fixed with a low-heat steamer. Do not iron without a pressing cloth.
